The twin room at Ostello Marello was like my cozy little sanctuary. It had its own private bathroom with a shower and a bidet, which was such a relief! As a budget traveler, I appreciated the value for money and the convenience of having all the necessary amenities right in my room.
I personally found the bidet in the private bathroom a bit unnecessary, but hey, to each their own!

I recently had a great two-night stay at an affordable place in Rome. the room was small, but since I didn't spend much time there, it didn't bother me. the shared bathrooms were always clean, thanks to the hardworking nuns who keep the place tidy. Although cooking wasn't allowed, I could still prepare and eat my own food in the kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this place is perfect. Plus, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to a famous historical spot, making it a convenient location. the nuns were also very welcoming, allowing me to leave my luggage with them and explore until my room was ready for check-in. it was a satisfying experience, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit the city. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 👍.

Personally, we found the shower water pressure a bit low, but that's just our preference. Others may still appreciate it.

I had a great two-night stay at this hostel in Rome. The rooms may not be spacious, but they served their purpose well. The hostel is elegant, clean, and well-maintained, with helpful and kind nuns. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and sink. Despite being close to the street, the rooms were surprisingly quiet and had fans to cool off in the summer. The location is fantastic, with several popular sights just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hostel and plan to return in the future.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with many major sights such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain within a short walking distance. The rooms were clean and the shared bathrooms were well-maintained. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze.
The lack of curtains in some rooms was problematic, as guests were woken up by the early morning sunlight.
